Immersed in the mysterious and dark worlds of strange video games, Vincent “islander0” Lévêque writes his music with these inspirations in mind. Familiar from a very young age with long adventures in front of his CRT TV, he first started learning music with the violin at ten years of age, an instrument which he played to mix his two passions. Since then, he has composed and arranged several pieces of varied and eclectic styles: soundtracks for games, electronic remixes or even experimentation with ambient music. His music initially caught the attention of Konlet, an independent video game developper looking for a composer to create bizarre and charming adventures. Finally, he is currently producing an atmospheric Drum and Bass EP.

Born in Saint-Pierre and Miquelon, Vincent lived on a misty archipelago isolated from the rest of the world since his childhood, where the sea was always visible from his window. Due to the remote nature of these islands, the resources and musical activities were all too often rare and insufficient. Despite everything, a small 2-week violin course taught by Félix Leblanc was enough to instill in him a desire to pursue a musical life. For this reason, he practiced on his own and studied the basics of music theory online. It was on Musescore, at the age of 11, that he started writing his first notes. Later, he proceeded to learn other instruments such as drums, bass and piano. He recently graduated from the University of Sherbrooke and got a Bachelor's Degree in music and compositions for visual media.
